Manchester United agree Pre-Contract Agreement with Former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss

According to reports coming from the Spanish Media Outlet ‘El Pais’, Manchester United have pencilled a pre-contract agreement with former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.

The 53 year old Portuguese will take over the reigns at the Old Trafford in the upcoming summer.

Mourinho was brutally sacked by Chelsea just months after leading them to a Premier League title.

However, despite their treatment of the Special One, no one could blame the Chelsea ownership for their ruthlessness.

When Mourinho left Chelsea after an away defeat at Leicester, Chelsea were lingering close to the foot of the Premier League.

Their league form was a huge concern as many dubbed the Chelsea champions as the worst ever reigning Premier League Champions in the history of English football.

This news won’t be music to the ears of Louis Van Gaal who would still have a year remaining on his contract in the summer.

However, as far as the Manchester United faithful are concerned, they will be overwhelmed with joy if Manchester United cement this move.

The ordinary Manchester United fan has been left furious with the style of play that has been played out before them at the Theatre of Dreams by the Dutch Manager.

His policy of preferring possession over purpose has infuriated Manchester United fans.

Van Gaal would have survived if it had been for the fans alone, however, their recent results both in the League as well as in Europe do little to assuage the pressure that is currently mounting.

The Red Devils have been knocked out of Europe – with their recent debacle against fierce rivals Liverpool the most painful.

Going into this Sunday’s Manchester derby, United find themselves on the 6th spot.

If a Mourinho move does materialise in the coming months, the first thing that the Manchester United fans will demand from the Portuguese is to bring back their stylish play on the field.
