Acueview Contact Lenses

Learn More About Acueview Contact Lenses Today!

Acueview (otherwise correctly known as 'Acuvue') contact lenses are available in four different categories: General Vision lenses, Color lenses, Multifocal lenses and Astigmatic lenses. By far the most expansive range of its contact lens products, Johnson & Johnson's General Vision lenses include Acuvue, Acuvue 2, Acuvue Advance and 1-Day Acuvue. Each of these lenses provides UVA and UVB blocking to help protect your eyes from harmful UV rays. Furthermore, each offers their own unique advantages in order to best meet your needs. Acuvue Advance lenses, for example, utilize the company's HYDRACLEAR technology to create a soft, exceedingly comfortable feel for the lens.

Replacement Schedules

Furthermore, Acueview lenses are designed to suit any lifestyle, allowing users to replace them daily (replaced with a fresh pair every day); fortnightly (removed at night and cleaned daily, to be replaced roughly every two weeks); or weekly (these can be worn continuously for up to six days, even while sleeping). Surevue, one of the companies older generation contact lens products has been discontinued as of 31 December, 2004. Johnson & Johnson recommends that peroxide-based solutions be used when caring for Acueview contact lenses.

We trust this brief overview of the Acueview contact lens range has helped you better understand the oft confusing contact lens market. Should you feel ready to make the plunge, we offer a disparate collection of eyewear products, all handily linked on the right-hand side of the page.
