Brightest
Coloured Contact Lenses - A Little Advice Goes A Long WayThere is an old saying that "Less is more," and it is
perhaps most apt when it comes to choosing the right colour of contact lens.
Given the sheer diaspora of choice in the cosmetic contact market right now, it
can be difficult for anyone, novice and seasoned contact user alike, to choose
the right colour lens. While opting for the brightest coloured contact lenses
you can find may at first seem like a great way to distinguish yourself with a
vibrant new look, it's not always the most prudent choice. The most obvious
reason being that not every colour lens suits every person. Depending on such
factors as the natural colour of your eyes, your skin colour and tone, and even
your hair, certain cosmetic contacts may be more appropriate than others. For
fair-skinned wearers, a lighter color that simply enhances the innate beauty of
your own may produce far better results than an entirely new, perhaps unsuitable
colour. As a general rule of thumb, colours such as light blues and greens will
offer the best results for people with lighter features. On the other hand,
and though it may seem a little unfair, in this respect, tanned or darker toned
people certainly have a much wider choice. Whether choosing lenses that offer
subtle tone adjustments or going with an entirely new color, dark-haired wearers
have a broad selection of cosmetic lenses from which to choose. Although lighter
colours can prove underwhelming, rich blues, browns and everything inbetween (from
gray to amethyst) all offer a refreshing new look. Remember, The Word
Is DiscretionOf course, these are broad generalizations and with a tiny
bit of experimentation it is possible to find a unique colour that is just for
you. Just keep in mind that there's a fine line between stunning and shocking;
you want to be noticed for dazzling natural eyes, not because they make you look
like a Halloween party-reject. To aid you in your quest for that all important
pair, we've accumulated a healthy range of eyewear products and accessories.
