Indulge your eyes with comfort: Johnson&Johnson Accuvue Advance and Hydraclear contact lenses with UV-blocking and a system to keep your eyes wet

The maker of Accuvue , Johnson&Johnson is a well-respected name within the community of contact lens manufacturers. They have a number of products including all the classic options that you would expect from a large-scale contact lens producer. However, Johnson&Johnson also likes to stay at the forefront of their industry with innovative research and new products to improve what they can offer to customers.

Johnson&Johnson has a new brand known as Accuvue Advance that is featuring a new product they have dubbed "Hydraclear". These new Accuvue Advance contacts have what they refer to as a moisture-rich element that is designed to help wet lenses and eyes, both from the surface of the lens as well as the interior.

Accuvue design also increases oxygen supply to the eyes

Johnson&Johnson claims that the Accuvue design will not only increase comfort for wearers, but also will help increase oxygen flow to the eye, which doctors agree is good for healthy eyes. The new technology in Accuvue contact lenses helps keep eyes comfortable by stopping them from drying out, which has the added benefit of helping eyes stay white instead of becoming bloodshot and tired looking.

Accuvue's Hydraclear lenses also feature a UV-blocking technology, which helps protect your eyes from damage by the sun

Accuvue is, however, not the only brand to offer innovative technology. Coopervision's Proclear lenses make many of the same claims as Accuvue's Hydraclear lenses. Since Proclear lenses also claim to use innovative technology to keep eyes moist and feeling comfortable for a long period of time, Accuvue has some competition. You may want to talk to your doctor about whether Accuvue or Coopervision or some other brand may offer the best product to meet your vision needs.
