Theatrical Contact Lenses

Act out your dreams with a set of recently developed Theatrical Contact Lenses

Whether it's the movies or the theatre, today each of us wants to act out fantasies and dreams in some way and with a set of theatrical contact lenses, this dream is now even closer to becoming a reality. With the recent advance in contact lens technology, theatrical contact lenses can now be purchased as hard or soft lenses.

Hard lenses are made from polymethylmethacrylate (or PMMA as it is known) and can last up to six months. Soft contact lenses are made from hydroxethylmethacrylate (or HEMA as it is also known) and can vary in their life span from one time use to use over a period of weeks, or even months.

However, as soft contact lenses are high in water content, they allow greater levels of oxygen to reach the eye; thus, the eye is able to breath better. As such, it is advances in this design that have most probably had the biggest impact on theatrical contact lenses.

Also, as contact lenses can now be bought non-prescription, it is possible for all actors, both those with vision problems and those without, to benefit from the possibilities of changing their iris color. By wearing theatrical contact lenses, the actor (you) can, therefore, hopefully feel more in tune with the role you are playing by changing your iris color from blue to brown, or brown to red, to reflect the mode of the character you are playing. They can also sharpen the natural color of your eyes so that your natural beauty may be more sharply reflected.

So, if you are about to embark on the acting role of your life, and if you want to impress the audience with the natural beauty of your eyes, why not wear a pair of theatrical contact lenses to help you really get into the role you're playing!
